Can I Use an Adjustable Mattress with a Walker Edison Bed Frame?Updated 22 days ago

Thank you for your interest in Walker Edison bed frames!

Our bed frames are designed to work with standard-sized mattresses. In most cases, adjustable mattresses are not compatible due to the following considerations:

  • Slat Requirements: Adjustable bases typically require a slat-less frame or direct floor placement. Our beds are not designed to be built without slats, and removing them may compromise the structure.

  • Size & Fit: Adjustable bases are often bulkier and may not fit properly within the frame. Our beds are not built to accommodate the extra dimensions these bases may require.

  • Weight Limitations: Adjustable mattresses can be quite heavy, which may exceed the weight capacity of our frames when combined with a sleeper.

If you're still considering using an adjustable mattress, we recommend checking the specific requirements and dimensions of your adjustable base. We’d also be happy to provide a detailed line drawing of the bed you're interested in to help you determine fit.

Please reach out to our Sales Support Team, support@walkeredisonshop.com, with the SKU or name of the bed you’re considering, and we’ll provide any additional measurements available.

We’re here to help you make the best decision for your space!
